The people are super nice!
I brought my bedspread to wash in a larger washing machine because ours are too small. I thought while I was there I would bring rugs & sheets & large blanket & get it all over with. I am disabled & have a service dog. She is small & I put her in a carrier when I go to places with unclean floors so she doesn’t get into anything. I sat her carrier down, my purse, a canvas bag with my laundry supplies on the back folding table. I put my laundry baskets on the floor. I proceeded to put my laundry in washers & came back to folding table. I glanced at my dog’s carrier & there was a little bug crawling on top of it. I didn’t think much of it & flicked the bug off with my fingers. I then finished washing, drying, & folding my laundry on the folding table after I wiped it off with a Lysol sanitizer cloth. Got home, put away laundry & made up my bed with the washed sheets & bedspread. After my shower, I sat down on my couch to watch TV & on the armrest of my couch one of those same bugs that I flicked off the carrier at the laundromat was crawling on the armrest. I grabbed it with a tissue & tried to squish it, it was very resilient. LIGHT BULB WENT OFF IN MY HEAD! I googled a picture of BEDBUGS & yep, that’s what it was. I freaked out & threw the washed blanket off of me. I didn’t know what to do! I googled everything & did what it said & bagged everything up. I knew I couldn’t do anything at 11:00 PM so I attempted sleep & got up at 6:00 AM to start my de-bedbugging. I first had to have my coffee & at 6:30 my neck & chest started itching. YEP! BEDBUG BITES. OMG! Threw out everything I could & bought the best stuff for treatment & sprayed EVERYTHING down, mattress, box springs, cracks, crevices, & soaked couch EVERYWHERE. Went to laundromat Monday, October 16, 2017, had bedbug bites on Tuesday morning & sprayed & cleaned & on Wednesday, no bites. However, today is Friday the 20th & I can’t relax in my own home. Every time my hair rubs on my neck I freak out, I feel like things are crawling on me that aren’t there. It is not s good feeling! DO NOT USE THIS LAUNDROMAT!!! Think about it. People go to laundromats to clean there bedbug exposed laundry in hot water. Just one bedbug can lay 500 eggs. BEWARE! I’ve been praying & have asked God to cleanse my home of these bedbugs & to help me with my anxiety from them. Keeping the Faith!
