While saying this is the best best BBQ in the south might be a stretch, it is definitely a very good BBQ restaurant. My wife, from Texas, had the sliced beef (brisket) and she was very pleased. I am from the southeastern US where pulled pork rules and so I got the sliced pork I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Rarely do we find a place that can make solid contributions for beef AND pork but this place hits the mark. The sides were excellent and the staff was very friendly. We were just passing through on I-10 so unfortunately we won't be able to enjoy this restaurant on a regular basis. If you are a fan of simple BBQ done without any fuss and you are driving by on I-10 I would encourage you to make the short detour to try this restaurant. We were very pleased with our visit. It is quite refreshing that simple restaurants that do a fine job still exist. Great job and keep up the fine work!
Delicious BBQ at a great price. Everything is good here, but the BBQ salad really stands out for me.
We have always had good service and the food was normally good. However, this past Friday on February 3rd, we ordered the Working Man Combo, the cheeseburger. Both of them were burnt. I could not even eat half of it. My husband went again today with his co-worker. He said they burnt it AGAIN. I don't know if there is a new cook or what but that is two different times and burnt hamburger patties like that tastes awful. The service is still good but after two times of awful tasting burnt hamburgers, it might be awhile before we visit again. We don't like spending our money and getting food that is burnt and tastes awful.
Best I've had in a very long time that hot bbq sauce is perfect I will return
Every Thursday is steak special, get in line because it is always good and a great value!
