Nice little hole in the wall. Mom and pop's place. Typical diner settings with extraordinary service. Got the country club on rye with sweet potato chips, black coffee and a water. It was delicious!
I gave 4 stars because in the past I have gotten a great Cheeseburger!! However tonight I ordered the 6 oz sirloin special.. I asked if they had fresh vegetables. After going to pick up my to go order and waiting 7 minutes at the counter.. I got home and the steak is dry tough and tasteless.. the green beans are fried and greasy. The mashed potatoes are very good. I'm so disappointed. I threw most of the steak out! It was just inedible.
Always fantastic service and food!!! I wish they would get the food out a little faster but then it may not be as delicious. One of my favorite places to eat in Live Oak.
If you are looking for a quick bite or a place just to sit and chit chat while you eat, this is the place! Definitely going to come back and recommend to others!
Good food and great service. If you leave this place hungry then there is something wrong with you. If you're ordering to-go I would avoid the fries. They get soggy quick in the Styrofoam box. I try something new here almost every time. Their key lime pie is very tasty as well.
Before I left, slipped into the restroom. Very clean and presentable.
This is the best stop for lunch in town! Although they are known for their Big Fish Sandwich, I live their French Dip and the chicken tenders and sweet potato chips are scrumptious!
